5 Elements had a stand at BASFEST 2010 which is a huge free music and family festival in Basildon. About 40 000 people attended over the weekend and 5 Elements were kept busy with their stand and meeting new and existing members.

With the launch of Little Tiger Cubs (Students age 3 to 5, starting in September) at the festival Yas, Gill and Jo painted many tiger faces during the weekend.

5 Elements have now invited all students to take part in the 2010 customer survey. This is a short online survey which allows us to make sure everything is working well at the academy. Ideas for changes and improvements are always welcome and ensure that we remain on track to being the best Martial Arts Academy. Tony Willis has announced a conditioning seminar for Sunday 15th August. This is for MMA, K1, Kung Fu and Kickboxing students. We will go through the routines that are required training for those looking to be able to withstand blows. This is rarely taught and one not to miss.

Get fit and look great this summer. We have a range of options for you to get fit and make sure you look your best this summer.

Look at Ultimate Fitness, Ladies Kickercise, Kickboxing and MMA all will provide you with fantastic results, just choose the one that suits you best or even better cross train and do several courses.

WAKO K1 came to 5 Elements in Basildon over the weekend with 2 seminars being held on Saturday 29th May. One seminar was for all of the students at 5 Elements and was also open to other gyms. A number of top gyms came along to join in the seminar and all the students had a great time increasing their knowledge of this type of full contact kickboxing.

The 2nd seminar was a closed seminar and just open to the 5 Elements competition squad. This was very much about increasing the ring skills of our fighters and proved to be very popular.

Cris Janson-Piers held the latest WAKO Kickboxing British Squad Trials at 5 Elements in Basildon, Essex on Sunday 30th May 2010. The squad trials were a great success with a number of gyms bringing their fighters.

5 Elements Chief Instructor Tony Willis said " we are very happy that we could help provide the facilities for the squad trials to be held at 5 Elements. With a succesful Kickboxing show being held in Basildon last month and another already agreed with WAKO for October this just reflects how 5 Elements is progressing"

5 Elements in Basildon is always looking to improve on equipment levels and facilities for our students. This month saw the addition of a cage wall for training specificaly for our MMA classes.
