The fightcard is now complete and looks like its going to be a fantastic night of excellent fights. There will be a number of local fighters as well as fighters from around the country travelling down to the show.

The fightcard includes a number of Championship Title fights.

It was announced today that the Fight between Nathan Howe v Alfie Davis  will now be an Amateur  British "Belted" Title eliminator, with the winner fighting Mike Brooks on the 5 Elements Show on May 8th in Basildon Essex.

Fergus Dullaghan will be joining the coaching team concentrating on enhancing the grappling skills taught as part of the MMA training. (Mixed Martial Arts, sometimes called Cage Fighting). Tony Willis Chief Instructor said “This is fantastic news for our students and gives us a top flight instructor to enhance the skills of our MMA students for takedowns and ground fighting.”

Fergus is an international judo player with 25 years of martial arts experience. As a former full-time elite judo athlete with Team Bath (2006-2008), and member of the Welsh National Judo Team, Fergus has competed and trained all over the world. Between May - October 2008 he was officially ranked 4th in the UK (British judo's World Class Performance Program) and has remained consistently in the country's top ten ranked fighters since October 2006. Currently he trains at British judo headquarters in Dartford. He also holds a blue belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu under Robin Gracie in Barcelona. His coaches include: Neil Adams, Robin Gracie, Patrick Roux (GB National Judo Coach), Jurgan Klinger (ex-German National Coach), Steve Clarke (5th dan).

Tony Willis head of 5 Elements Martial Arts in Basildon Essex today announced that British Kickboxing Champion Helen Robinson-Carey will travel to Dublin to fight the Irish Champion.

Feb 21st 2010 - 5 Elements Kickboxing Squad put 8 fighters on the show achieving 2 British Champions and 5 Bronze medals. Congratulations to all the fighters on their achievements and to Nick Lumb -81kg and Helen Robinson-Carey - 56kg for their British Titles.

New Tai Chi beginners course announced by 5 Elements, Basildon, Essex. The course will start on Monday 1st of March at 10am.

The course is suitable for all ages and taught by Tony Willis Head of 5 Elements and Tai Chi Instructor for Essex Council, Adult Learning.

New 4 weeks kids beginners course start Tuesday 23rd February at 5 Elements Martial Arts in Basildon Essex. This is a great way for kids to get an introduction into the great fun and fitness that can be gained from training in a professional martial arts school.
